Med ett nytt STIM-stipendium och tidigare prisad som Årets textförfattare är Sveriges mest eftertänksamma rappare aktuell med sitt andra album.
Mattis släppte sitt debutalbum “Ett tag till” 2020 och den 24 mars 2023 kommer hans andra album, som gästas av Grammis-vinnande rapparen Jaqe, artisten Linus Hasselberg, Norea Sandberg och Alexander Juneblad.
Mattis levererar det oväntade. I en värld där alla försöker vara mer, djärvare och skrika högre för att bli hörda – tar han oss med på en innerlig resa som påminner oss om kraften i det finstilta. Texter om längtan, vilsenhet och relationer varvas med genomtänkta vardagsbetraktelser över otraditionella beats. Ljudlandskapet ackompanjeras av stråkar, flamencogitarrer och stundvis påminner det om 90-talets jazziga pop
– Jag tror jag har undvikit vissa känslor dom senaste åren, flytt om man så vill. Men till slut blir man vilsen i den flykten och då är det svårt att hitta tillbaka till sig själv. Jag gick in i det här projektet med en ambition om att vara så lekfull som möjligt sound-mässigt. En dröm som gick i uppfyllelse var att vi fick spela in en riktig stråkkvartett och att hela skivan är präglad av alla fantastiska musiker som medverkar. Albumet är producerat till största delen av Linus och Hannes Hasselberg på Röda Paradise. Utöver de står även Teodor Wolger, Albin Tjernberg, Alexander Juneblad och jag själv bakom produktionen.
Mattis är en nyskapande nutida artist som hämtar inspiration från litteraturens värld. I hans orubbliga och säregna poesi kan den uppmärksamme hitta spår från både Karin Boye och Joan Didion bland ordlekarna.

I have not received my ticket via email. What should I do?
The first thing to do is check your spam/junk filters and inboxes. Your tickets were sent as an attachment and can be thought of as spam by some email services.
