Rama Lama is coming back to Copenhagen!

Since starting out in 2016, Stockholm independent label Rama Lama Records have established themselves as one of Sweden's most interesting indie labels by throwing parties in Sthlm, Gothenburg, Malmö and London as well as releasing acts such as Chez Ali, Melby, Wy and more. As Ja Ja Ja once stated, "if you’re looking for indie-pop in Stockholm, you go to Rama Lama Records".

On November 26th, we'll have Swedish and Danish bands sharing the night on Råhuset's stage in an attempt to bring the scenes closer to each other. The line-up consists of dynamic and charming indie pop quartet Steve Buscemi's Dreamy Eyes from Stockholm, Copenhagen's Life of Lola who's instantly appealing music takes on elements from lo-fi, indie folk and pop and garage-tinged indie rockers Gula Blend, a six-piece group from Malmö that will make your body move.

Behind the odd name Steve Buscemi’s Dreamy Eyes you’ll find one of the most interesting and charismatic bands on the Scandinavian indie scene. Early 2020, the band released their highly anticipated debut album "Sweetie" which was followed by tour dates in Scandinavia and UK before the pandemic hit. The album made Bandcamp's editorial department describe the band as the ”Scandinavian scene standouts that make dynamic, catchy, melancholic indie pop”.

Steve Buscemi's Dreamy Eyes have really made a mark since entering the scene in 2016 and continue to do so with every new step they take. The band currently consists of Siri Sjöberg, Tilde Hansen, Elias Mahfoud and Eric Boström Wallin (replacing Edvin Arleskär as drummer since summer 2020). The new line-up recently debuted new material at live shows, the new material sees the sound moving on to an even more euphoric and danceable experience, yet keeping the dynamic elements that have made the band so lovable from the start.

Under the name Lola, Laura Thalbitzer and her bands create organic and intimate "scrapbook-indie". The debut EP 'Chapter I' was released earlier this year and is a collection of songs where lo-fi, indie rock and folk elements melt together in a dreamy soundscape.

Named after the iconic Swedish cigarette brand, Gula Blend have made a name for themselves during their short career as an energetic and captivating live band. With their melodic, garage-tinged, indie rock Gula Blend treat the crude everyday life, good and bad relations and the simple art form of procrastinating one's well-being. Late 2020, the band released their debut LP 'Inte idag' on Rama Lama Records and got nominated as "Newcomer of The Year" at the Swedish Indie Awards Manifest. The band, now a six-piece consisting of Jesper Pettersson (vocals, guitar), Lukas Feurst (drums, vocals), Måns Pettersson (guitar), Petter Enghed (bass), Stina Norberg (tambourine, back-up vocals) and Oscar Johansson (saxophone, back-up vocals), are currently working on their second album that will be out 2022.
