Gott folk!
Först ut denna sommar med att spela live på Söderströms, är inga mindre än Nordman!
Håkan Hemlin och Mats Wester möttes i en studio i Hjorthagen 1991. Mats hade under några år experimenterat med att blanda folkmusik och pop och sökte en sångare till projektet. Han frågade Håkan om han var intresserad att testa lite, det var han. Experiment påbörjades och efter ett par träffar tillkom embryot till det som skulle bli låten ”Förlist” med text av Lars Sahlin.
Nästan tre år senare, i februari 1994 släpptes första singeln ”Förlist”. Albumet släpptes i slutet av april samma år. Redan efter fyra veckor hade albumet noterats för guldskiva (som vid den tiden var 50 000 ex.). Den andra singeln ”Vandraren” gick direkt upp på sommartoppens förstaplats, och förblev där hela sommaren. Under sommaren passerade albumet även gränsen för platina (100 000 ex). Innan året var slut hade man passerat 3 x platina.
