Ellen Namhila was a Namibian refugee who studied in Finland on a scholarship in the 1970s. Set against rare TV archive, she reads from her autobiography, The Price of Freedom - and provides insights into the peculiar cultural differences between the two nations. This personal, observant and often funny account highlights Namibia’s struggle for independence as well as Finland’s long-term ties with the southern African country.

This film will also be screened on September 21 at 15:30. To get a ticket for this screening, click on this link.
