Heralding the new voices in Nordic short filmmaking, each of the four films in this programme displays something that sets the filmmakers apart from their contemporaries, and hints at an exciting career ahead. Featuring a disturbing sci-fi horror set in the Icelandic wilderness (Turn), an inventive pseudo-documentary about a bomb-threat at a recycling centre outside Stockholm (Recycling & Waste), a poignant drama about trauma (From Our Laundry), and a thought-provoking film about a woman who has lost her place in the world (Being More Like Bagsy).
Recycling & Waste by Julius Jorborg
From Our Laundry by Jakob Eliasson & Albin Abrahamsson
Being More Like Bagsy by Mikkel Storm Glomstein
Turn by Sesselía Ólafsdóttir & Peter Callow
This short film package will also be screened on September 21 at 21:00. To get a ticket for this screening, click on this link.
