✔ BIOGRAFI: Elected Dancer of the Year in 2011 at the Carivibez TV Awards, Aya has put herself as one of the dancers to keep an eye on the Dancehall scene.
She began very early on with classical dance at the Conservatory in her hometown where she spent 10 years mastering the skills of dancing and winning many competitions.
Being born within three different cultures (her mother being Lebanese Ivorian and her father being French) and having been raised in the suburbs of Paris, Aya has naturally soaked into a multicultural environment particularly African Caribbean.
She quickly falls in love with Dancehall and Soca music (hence the Dancehall Soca ® concept) and pushes herself to learn the techniques and absorb these cultures.
Aya first begins by collaborating with Camron One-Shot and it is with QueenStonn that she first gets her appearance on the public scene.
Her nickname “Aya Level” (= meaning “Higher Level”) was given to her in 2010 by Krys during her first performance with the artist at the Elysée Montmartre.
It isn’t until 2012 where her career launches. Whether dancer, choreographer, teacher, Aya easily carries each of the roles. With over 20 million views on YouTube, Aya has been sought out by many artists, dance schools, as a judge to dance battles, but also by big websites such as Yahoo.fr and Aufeminin.com.
Aya travels all over the world (Austria, Sweden, Dubai, Senegal, Jamaica, Germany, Romania, Italy, etc.) to share her passion whether as a performer or to lead workshops. It’s noticeably in Jamaica that Aya has last collaborated with one of the biggest names of Dancehall: Mr. Vegas. You can see her in many of his music videos but also on the cover of his upcoming album “Bruck it Down 2.0.”
