Machetes
Det var en kärlek till gamla agentfilmer och spaghettiwesterns som förde dom samman. Dom möttes i en stökig replokal i Göteborgs slumrigaste kvarter. Rummet var fyllt av bråte och på väggen hängde en schleten gammal machete som någons fafar/morfar fått med sig från sina resor. Just som instrumenten blivit stämda, rören i förstärkarna började bli varma och trummisen just skulle räkna in fattade Macheten eld. Och ur den brinnande kniven hördes Guds, Dick Dale den allsmäktiges röst… VARDE SURF! Sade Dick Dale, och det blev Surf, och Dick Dale såg att det var gott!
Sålunda lyder den sanna historien om hur det gick till då MACHETES stjärna tändes klar på den svenska surf himlen. Och nu är det dags att avtäcka den fjärde delen i deras serie av EP´s som släppts de senaste två åren. The Snake Charmers Dance.
