Karoo är en mötesplats för mångfald, en resa genom olika traditioner, språk, rytmer och berättelser från förr och moderna livsutmaningar, gemenskapens kraft, kärlekens kraft, respektens kraft, kraften i att koppla samman med andra i vardagen, en resa genom en rad olika känslor, och allt blandat med glädje och positiv energi. Karoo blandar mandinka-musik ifrån södra Senegal med portugisisk och svensk folkmusik, och resultatet är ett mjukt, akustiskt sound med medlemmarnas olika stränginstrument och sångtraditioner i centrum.
Neto Amado är sångare och gitarrist och föddes i Sao Tomé och Príncipe. Han spelar sin egen stil baserad på influenser som Bulaue, Ussua, afrikansk rumba, kizomba, latin-jazz och bossa nova. Hans repertoar består sånger från portugisisktalande länder, speciellt Sao Tomé och Príncipe samt hans egna låtar.
Till Klubb Mariama komer Neto med medlemmar från sitt band tillsammans med några av Klubb Mariamas musiker.

Konserten genomförs med stöd av Kulturrådet, Region Stockholm och Stockholm Stad med stöd av Bilda studieförbund.

Pygméteaterns Lilla Kulturhus är inne på tionde året - en växande kulturklubb som erbjuder spännande och exklusiva program till en bred publik. Konsertklubben, gästspel av skilda slag, musik, dans och scenkonstföreställningar. Tyngdpunkten ligger på musikutbudet; en ständigt skiftande mix av opera, improvisationsmusik, jazz, visor, världsmusik, flamenco och udda musikaliska möten!

I have not received my ticket via email. What should I do?
The first thing to do is check your spam/junk filters and inboxes. Your tickets were sent as an attachment and can be thought of as spam by some email services.
