REFUNDABLE BOOKING FEE

Don't worry, Dev Ball is still a free event! The booking fee of 100kr will be automatically refunded to those that attend the event and those that cancel their tickets before Monday, September 2nd.

We introduced this booking fee because the percentage of ticket-holders that have been no-shows on the day has been a bit too high previous years. This has led to quite a few people on the waitlist not being able to get tickets, and to food waste at the event.

WHAT IS DEV BALL?

Dev Ball is a full day paintball event for game developers in Southern Sweden.

The event was created by EB Studio in 2022 with the intention of fostering connections across local game developer studios.

Since the first round of Dev Ball, hundreds of developers from across studios have battled it out on the paintball field only to regroup and bury the hatchet at the Dev Ball Kappa After Party.

WHO IS THE EVENT FOR?

We don’t care about your title or what studio you work for; our one requirement is that you’re currently working in the game development industry.

WHAT’S THE PLAN?

- We will meet in front of Rådhuset, Stortorget at 08.45 on Saturday, September 7th. There will be a check-in area where you will get your wristband, drink tickets, and some information about the event. The buses will be ready to take off for Paintballbanan in Löddeköpinge at 09.15.

- Once at the paintball court, everyone will get fitted with their paintball gear, receive safety instructions and get organized into teams.

- Time to fight it out! We will be playing fast-paced and interactive games across the paintball level with a well-earned lunch break in-between. Vegan, vegetarian and meat options will be available.

- The buses will be on stand-by to take us back to Malmö by 16.45.

Wash off the war paint, inspect your bruises, and head on over to Kappa to trade war stories over a cold beverage of your choice. The first two rounds are on us!

TICKETS

This year's tickets have a 100kr booking fee that will be refunded after you have checked into the event. You will need to show your ticket when checking in at the buses and when entering the after party.

The ticket includes transport to and from the paintball court, all necessary gear, lunch, entry to the Kappa after party and two drink tickets (beer/cider/wine).

Refunds of the booking fee are processed through Billetto, and might take up to 5 business days to appear in your account. 

Tickets are limited, so make sure to reserve your spot as soon as you can.

PHOTOGRAPHY

We will have a photographer and videographer at the paintball court and after party to document the experience. A selection of the pictures will be screened on the TVs at Kappa Bar during the after party and the recorded photo and video material might be posted on our social media channels. If you don't want to be in any pictures, please let the on-site EB representatives or the photographer know.
