Det är med en stor ära som Bullret Jazzklubb i samarbete med Musik i Syd kan presentera denna internationella och stjärnspäckade trio på Matverkstaden i Kirseberg!
Bill Stewart Trio med Larry Grenadier och Walter Smith III är en av de mest spännande trio konstellationer i jazz och improviserad musik idag.
De har uppträtt i en vecka på den kända jazzklubben Village Vanguard i New York två gånger de senaste åren och har gjort en skiva med titeln Band
Menu.
Stewart och Grenadier har en historia av att spela tillsammans som sidemen i anmärkningsvärda artister såsom Pat Metheny (i ett och ett halvt år 1999/2000 och sedan igen 2008) och med John Scofield (1996-97). De har också gjort ett flertal skivinspelningar ihop.
Stewart spelade första gången med Walter Smith III på en inspelning ledd av Danny Grissett och blev omedelbart imponerad av hans sound och individuella approach till instrumentet och musiken.

Bullret Jazzklubb är en klubb i Malmö med fokus på högkvalitativa konsertupplevelser och god atmosfär. Premiären skedde våren 2014 och vi har nu etablerat oss som en god representant för den svenska jazzscenen.
Bullret Jazzklubb drivs i samarbete med Malmö stad, Musik i Syd, Kulturrådet via Svensk Jazz, Malmö Live Konserthus och Inkonst
Det är vi mycket glada över.
