Sisters of Invention´s duo-repertoar är ett avskalat koncept där systrarna ger sig själva mer plats som improvisatörer och instrumentalister. Sättningen består till grunden av trumset och saxofon, toppat med sång, loopar och sampling-pad. Musiken beskrivs som färgstark och svängig samtidigt som den är poetisk och sårbar. Fokus ligger på starka melodier och rytmer. Förbered dig på att bli överraskad av den variation av ljud och stilar som denna duo kan frambringa.

Anna Lundqvist, sång – hyllad sångerska och kompositör. Hon är utbildad vid Skurups folkhögskolas jazzmusiklinje och har varit verksam i över 20 år. Under den tiden har hon släppt fem kritikerrosade skivor samt en notbok med egna kompositioner. Den senaste skivan MEWE (Anna Lundqvist Quintet, 2018) blev nominerad till Manifestgalan i kategorin ”Årets jazz” och blev hyllad i utländsk press och media. Sedan några år tillbaka är hon också verksam som musiker och gästföreläsare i Lissabon, en stad hon kallar sitt andra hem.
Jonas André, piano – musiker och kulturell mångsysslare. Han är utbildad vid Skurups folkhögskolas jazzmusiklinje samt Musikhögskolan i Malmö. De senaste 25 åren har han varit inblandad i flera olika musikaliska projekt; som musiker, producent och grafisk formgivare. Han producerade en mängd skivor under sin tid på Caprice Records och ligger bland annat bakom upptäckter som Edda Magnason och den mycket uppskattade

The first thing to do is check your spam/junk filters and inboxes. Your tickets were sent as an attachment and can be thought of as spam by some email services.
