Third Culture Kids Outsiders

TCK Outsiders is an initiative under the brand Third Culture Kids to address the underrepresentation in nature. The idea that nature is reserved for a certain ‘type’ of person—those with specific skills, knowledge, or backgrounds—is deeply limiting. This restrictive notion disconnects large parts of society from the natural world. We want to talk about nature as the space that welcomes all forms of connection, however diverse they might be. By shifting the dialogue and recognizing the many ways nature can be experienced, we open up the conversation to new perspectives—one that will ultimately help create a more participatory and more accessible relationship with nature. We do monthly adventures. Mostly hikes but sometimes we add a special event like kayaking, climbing or muhroom hunting. Follow us to get our newsletter.  www.thirdculturekids.se
