Learn what you need to do to receive funding for your startup or your idea. Our panel is a group of successful investors/VCs, dedicated to the formation and growth of startup companies. Plus, an opportunity to get your questions answered.
Part 2: Watch as the companies we've selected each do their 5-minute pitch to our panel of investors. Learn from their techniques to help prepare yourself for a future pitch!

Event to be moderated, in English, by Peter Fosso (from USA; Founder of Global Music Project, NetMusic Entertainment Corp, and Stockholm Entrepreneurs)
Join us along with a panel of investors to discuss:
• What do investors look for? What’s the mindset behind their investment decisions?
• How should an entrepreneur get the attention of a VC or angel investor?
• What should a startup have in place in order to impress investors and make them want to commit?
• How does an entrepreneur know whether to pursue angel or VC funding?
• Learn these things and more + get your questions answered
• Then watch several companies pitch to them
SCHEDULE (approximate times):
18:45: Check-In/Mingling, 19:00 or 19:15 Panel Discussion, 20:15-21:00 Pitching Session + Q&A, and final words from the investors, then more mingling. This is an 'after dinner' event so no food will be served.

ABOUT THE PANELISTS
Marianne Uddman works out of Stockholm and focuses on investments in the technology sector. Before joining Creathor Venture, Marianne worked at Anheuser Busch InBev – the world’s largest brewing company – where she led the Innovation Team in the UK. She acquired solid knowledge of the industry by working in a variety of departments – from marketing to sales, production and product development to new business development. She has over ten years of experience working abroad in the UK, the US, Australia, Spain and Sweden. Marianne has a master’s degree in marketing from the EADA Business School in Barcelona and a bachelor’s of science in digital media from the Bremen University of Applied Sciences/University of New South Wales, Sydney. Beside working for Creathor, Marianne has a passionate for outdoors and cooking.
As Venture Partner, John Sjölander works with our ICT investment activity, ranging from deal flow to exit processes. He is also a member of several portfolio company boards, where he contributes with a strong technical understanding and network. John has an entrepreneurial background, and has started and built a number of companies within the tech sector. He has also held executive positions at a number of venture capital-backed tech companies. John holds degrees in Engineering Physics, Applied Information Technology and Computer Science & Engineering from Chalmers University of Technology and University of Göteborg.
Sabina Wizander has a background working in the McKinsey Technology and Innovations office in San Francisco, as well as working with social entrepreneurship networks. Sabina recently left San Francisco to join Creandum, where she was with McKinsey, supporting some of the large tech companies. She was also part of the core team forming McKinsey´s view on future technologies together with advisors such as Hal Varian and Eric Schmidt, as well as performing research and writing McKinsey publications on several topics, e.g., Disruptive technologies, IoT, Mobile Internet, Autonomous vehicles. Sabina’s passion for social change has driven her to work with social ventures, through the Ashoka Network, as an advisor to the entrepreneurs on the side of her normal work. Sabina holds a M. Sc in Industrial Engineering and has studies mathematical modeling and econometrics for several years.
ABOUT THE MODERATOR
Peter Fosso is a serial entrepreneur from Seattle, Washington (USA) and the founder of Global Music Project, NetMusic Entertainment, Seattle Entrepreneurs, Stockholm Entrepreneurs, and more. Peter has a diverse background as an entrepreneur with strong expertise in the music industry, technology, and consumer or B2B-related businesses. He's an Internet business developer and consultant, advising in companies' business development, marketing, social media strategies, and helps companies enter the U.S. marketplace.
Stockholm Entrepreneurs is a social enterprise so revenue generated goes toward Global Music Project, a non-profit organization that provides musical instruments to the underprivileged.
