After last year's success, NORDIC LIGHT DANCE CAMP returns - a collaboration between NORDISKT LJUS, ID CREW and KulturUngdom! This year also with the first edition of NORDIC LIGHT DANCE BATTLE. 

ABOUT NORDIC LIGHT DANCE CAMP
For a week, we invite you to a dance camp with some of the Nordic region's most sought-after course leaders and dance educators! With classes in the dance styles hip hop, popping, house dance, dance hall, breaking and voguing, you get to develop your dance skills, while you get historical background and knowledge of the origins of the dance styles. Each class is uniquely built by each course leader and guarantees to leave you with more knowledge, joy and inspiration. Read more about the camp and the teachers at www.nordisktljus.se 

The camp is mixed-style and you take part in different dance styles. We encourage you to participate throughout the whole camp, but it is also possible to just join for a few days. ABOUT NORDIC LIGHT DANCE BATTLE
Nordic Light Dance Battle is a first year edition and part of the second year of Nordic Light Dance Camp. You can participate in just the camp, the battle or both.  The battle takes place on Saturday's program the 16th of July at Nordiska Folkhögskolan that include pre-selections, top 8, top 4 & top 2 solo battles in 1vs1 pro Allstyle & 2vs2 rookie Allstyle. We will also have jam, judges showcase & much more.

First prize:
3000 SEK for the pro Allstyle category & 3000sek for Rookie Allstyle category!

REGISTRATION & RULES

• Pre-registration is required! Limited number of places to contest. Last registration day is 4th of July - but don't wait too long to sign up! Places might run out. 
  

• Do not forget to indicate which category you compete in!
  

• Registration is binding due to the limited competition spots.
  

• The registration fee Saturday is 50 sek/5 euro per dancer, limited tickets are available.
  

• Registration fee for dancers is also the entrance ticket on Saturday 16th of July. 
  
• Non-competitors = 80sek for audience ticket for 16th of July
  
• ABOUT NORDISKT LJUS/NORDISKA FOLKHÖGSKOLAN
  During 4-31st of July Nordiskt ljus takes place at Nordiska Folkhögskolan in Kungälv, Sweden - 25 min outside Gothenburg with summer courses, artistic residencies and a festival weekend. The purpose of Nordiskt ljus is to create a platform for artistic exchange in the Nordics as well as being a counter-force to the right winged extremists who are trying to overtake the Nordic term for own purposes - especially in Kungälv.
