Sara Galan is one of Swedens top choreographer / dancers of African / Urban Afrobeat Styles and Dancehall. Her choreography to TIMAYA - Hold me now reached 3.5 00000 views and over 25. 000 shares in a couple of days on FB .

She is the Founder/Artistic Director and Choreographer of her 2 Dance companies :

- Galang Crew (Which focus on Dancehall / African Styles and HipHop)

- Sabar Agents which is strictly focused on Senegalese traditional dance SABAR .

Sara is also the founder of #DancersAgainstRacism wich purpose is to bring dancers and dance lovers together around the globe and in that way work against racism. Sara teaches all around Sweden and Europe and has gotten her dance training both in Europe, United States and Africa. She is frequently hired by artists as choreographer and dancer.

She studied between 2008- January 2011 at Broadway Dance Center in New York City and received the Outstanding Student award. Her trademarks are : Explosively, dynamic detailed movement with fast paste and spot on musicality.

Sara has received a lot of international recognition for her work promoting African music and Artists .

Spring term 2018 is coming and Malmö Dansakademi has an amazing surprise for you! Our new "MDA ALL-STARS WORKSHOPS" starting week 11 until week 20 from the 18th of March until the 20th of May, you read that right, 10 WEEKS in a ROW!!!

In our ongoing mission to provide the best of the best to our students and the dance community in the south of Sweden, we will be having a new international or national guest dance artist every week. That's right, 10 weeks, 10 artists, 1 place - Malmö Dansakademi!
