About Looptok

Looptok is renowned for his unique style of composing for theatre, circus and film. The instruments he uses stem from all over the world and are tailored to the ideas and shapes of each project. Soundscapes are created using material to suits the theme of each specific show.

For the theme of borders and migration, for example, sounds have been created with litter and objects from beaches, underwater sounds and by using the Öresund Bridge as an acoustic space. In another example, where knitting is explored as a means of investigating the aspirations of humanity, yarn has been used to create strings in various forms.

These sounds are then combined with acoustic instruments, electronic soundscapes and own instrument creations such as drum drone and cello dobro.

Amongst Samuel’s most well known commissions are Knitting Peace and Limits for Circus Cirkör, which have toured throughout the world for many years, and in which Samuel himself features as live musician on stage.

Joshua Roxendal founded Arctic Breath Lofoten 2023. He is a passionate breathwork guide, wellness coach, nature enthusiast, and event organizer. With a deep commitment to helping others achieve inner balance and healing, Joshua combines his expertise in breathwork and wellness coaching to create transformative experiences. His love for nature and belief in its restorative power inspires his events aimed at fostering connection with ones own power and creative force. 

About Victoria:

Creating nourishing spaces for authentic expression. She is known for her compassionate and playful nature, with a voice that grounds you. Sharing her love for deepening our intimacy with our bodily experience, Victoria focuses on embodiment to expand our experience of ourselves and our inseperabillity with nature. Currently living in Lofoten, Victoria hosts classes, retreats and women’s circles at home and around Europe. She is educated in various forms of yoga and movement practices, an Ayurveda Health Coach and Doula. Often you’ll find her playing in the mountains and ocean, studying, harvesting wild food or cooking a juicy meal.
