Finally a sign painting workshop in Stockholm!

In this two-day workshop you will get an introduction to basic hand lettering, brush lettering and sign painting.

Participants will be introduced to and taught the required technical skills before gaining practical experience of a variety of letterforms in the sign writers toolbox. These will include Block/gothic, Casual & Script styles with attention given to the importance of layout and letters.

It will be a practical, fun and creative workshop to try your hand at sign-writing and learn from two of the best, Jacob Engberg from Copenhagen Signs and Kurt McRobert from Very Fine Signs, both masters of the craft. Places are limited to 20 participants to ensure lots of individual tuition and coaching across the days.

PRICE 2900 SEK (€ 300)

The cost of the workshop includes:

- Two full days of sign painting tuition with Jakob Engberg from Copenhagen Signs (DENMARK) and Kurt McRobert from Very Fine Signs (USA) - All materials - Lunch - Refreshments throughout the day such as coffee, tea and "fika"

Equipment:
Everything you need for the workshop will be supplied. If you have your own brushes or other equipment then feel free to bring it along. We will work with waterbased paint and 2179 Mack water base sign painting brushes.

Clothing:
We will be working with a lot of paint across the whole workshop so wear clothing and shoes that you don't mind getting dirty.

Projects:
If you have anything that you areworking on and would like input on please bring it along with you. There will be lots of scope for bespoke support so make the most of it.

SATURDAY BAR evening
The Stockholms bränneri and Modernist Brewery offers their handcrafted products. Gin, beer, snacks and good vibes.

The workshops are in English and suits all skill levels.
