Summer Adventure Break STEAM Camp 2023 (5-13 y/o)
A 4-day Camp for curious Campers, each day designed to enthuse their young minds and relish the closing of the school year. This Summer Camp is guaranteed to be another memorable experience, combining STEAM activities while exploring art, culture, and sports.
STEAM is an approach to learning that uses Science, Technology, Engineering, the Arts and Mathematics as access points for guiding children inquiry, dialogue, and critical thinking.
Day 1: Chocolate Making and Mini- Robot Day
Build a mini-model of a robot and opportunities to test these models in the Camp.
Design your chocolate pops and learn the chemistry of making chocolates. We will end the day with a surprise treat for the parents and the Campers.
Day 2: Rosendahl’s Garden and Waldemarsudde Day
Explore Rosendahl’s garden and a tour of the atelier, museum, and the beautiful garden of Waldemarsudde.A professional artist to guide your child to make their canvass. Let’s grab some paintbrushes and color the day. One fantastic artful day to heighten your child’s senses.
Day 3: Architecture, Robots and Coding Day
Assemble and code a robot toy. Race with the other Campers and take home a prize loot for the day.
Hands-on learning about architecture and challenging yourself to design one on the spot.
Day 4: Electricity, Hop and Pop Day
How is electricity generated? Sources of electricity and impacts in the environment. Electricity kits to be explored in the Camp.
End the week by celebrating at “Hop and Pop Trampoline Park!”
Test your flexibility and endurance with different trampoline obstacles to make this summer experience an unforgettable bliss.
Closing program at VRG to send off our Campers to a wonderful summer.
