The Swedish producer duo LOKATT are releasing the album “LOKATT Kompilation” the 29th of November, an album that presents LOKATT’s previous work from the beginning until now, including tracks that form LOKATT’s live performances. The duo is currently developing their live set in an explorative manner, working with sound, visuals, and UV lights. They are collaborating with VJ artist Jenny Forsgren to create an atmosphere that is both captivating and immersive.

2024 has been a productive year for LOKATT, releasing The EP Little Rebel with remixes by The Rice Twins (Kompakt) and MLiR (Studio Barnhus) and the recently released disco-pop maxi-single Hey DJ, co-produced with Barcelona-based Dinky and synthesizer features by Swedish The Land Below. Little Rebel and Hey DJ is part of the LOKATT compilation album, which marks the end of an era and the beginning of a new one.

The Swedish producer duo LOKATT is back with the disco-pop maxi single "Hey DJ." The release is co-produced by Barcelona-based Dinky and features synthesizer contributions from Swedish artist The Land Below. "Hey DJ" is part of the LOKATT compilation album of the same title, out in November. The album presents LOKATT’s previous work from the beginning until now, including tracks that form LOKATT’s live performances.

The duo is currently developing their live set in an explorative manner, working with sound, visuals, and UV lights. They are collaborating with VJ artist Jenny Forsgren and dancers to create an atmosphere that is both captivating and immersive. The album "Hey DJ" marks the end of an era and the beginning of a new one.

Earlier this year LOKATT released their fourth EP, LITTLE REBEL, on their own label Oma Gusti in collaboration with Kranglan Broadcast (Harald Björk/Cocoon). All tracks produced by Johanna and Nina Piroth, with co-production by Barcelona based producer Dinky. The single "Little Rebel" entered the Top20 on Beatport's chart "Best new electronica." in February 2024. The EP was followed by two remixes by Swedish duo The Rice Twins (Kompakt Records) and MLiR (Studio Barnhus).

In 2015 LOKATT released their acclaimed debut EP ”Karg” on their own label Oma Gusti, the single The Hill was picked as ”one of the best dance tracks of the year” by Swedish National Radio P3. The debut was followed by Samoa EP 2017, the single Samoa by Night was added to the chart “Best right now” by Swedish National Radio P3. Further, LOKATT released the single Me and AI together with a remix 2019 and EP LA Dream 2020, with remixes by Swedish techno producer Harald Björk. In 2022 LOKATT released the down-tempo winter hymn, In snow and time, with an ambient edit by Harald Björk.

LOKATT also run the label Oma Gusti with releases by top name artists such as Studio Barnhus, Kaah, Harald Björk, Nathan Fake, Missincat, Popnoname, The Land Below and Clara Moto. They also host the music podcast Man Machine, where they invite artists and producers to their studio in Stockholm.

LOKATT is performing as a DJ-duo and live act. Their approach to live performance is highly innovative and exploratory, pushing the boundaries of traditional DJ/live sets to create a truly memorable and engaging experience for their audience. They perform their tracks from the DJ-booth incorporating live vocal elements and machines, preferably in an interactive performance together with the audience. Their process of working includes questions about introversion/extroversion, gaze and sexuality. They are currently developing their live-set in an explorative way of working with sound, visuals and uv-lights. Collaborating with VJ-artist Jenny Forsgren and dancers, creating an atmosphere that is both captivating and immersive.
