It's The Hot Girl Summer Weekend
and Ballroom is here. For tonight and as the end of "The Hot Girl Summer Weekend" we gladly welcome you to the "Real Hot Girl $h!t Ball - The Aftermath"!!
In connection to the one of the biggest balls in Europe, the aftermath, the re-match will happen! For tonight we will give the girls a chance to go off and show whos the top of the crop! In a variety of categories portraying beauty, high fashion and voguing, everyone will be welcomed to make their moment!! Ending the night with country vs country, where ballroom across europe will have a chance to let everyone know who is the superior country, and it is guaranteed to be a night to remember!!
Ballroom was created by black and latin trans women back in Harlem, New York at the late 1960s, due to racism they faced within the white pageant scene. Ballroom is an underground subculture by and for the BIPOC LGBTQ+ community and it is a competition where participants walk different categories in beauty, sex, fashion and performance (voguing).
If you are not from the community, you are a guest in the culture, so please be mindful of the space you take. Respect the space and the people who are performing. If you would like to walk/participate, learn, study and practise the culture and the categories beforehand. If there are any questions, please contact the organizer and they will help you.
